Peter Esdaile

Peter’s life has always involved horses, and a desire to understand them more.

Breaking in horses in his early teens and working cattle and sheep stations for 20 years after leaving school.

Life has taught Peter many lessons.

He recalls being frustrated teaching horses to change leads and to place their feet to do roll backs, until he started to study ballroom dancing himself.

Chiropractic care was the only thing that kept him going while working in the “bush”, but injury took its toll and the only alternative was to learn how to help himself.

Peter graduated from Sydney College of Chiropractic in 1984 and has been in private practice as a human and equine chiropractor since then. During this time he has studied and developed techniques to more specifically address the understanding of what goes wrong and why it goes wrong, and then, what to do about it.

Peter had a mission to develop a method that was consistently reliable, easily reproducible and easily teachable and this has culminated in Equine Energy. This technique is as easily performed by women as men as there is no strenuous “manipulation” involved. Equine Energy is not to be regarded as another therapy, but is a correction of the underlying problems.

In the words of the founder of Chiropractic, Dr. D.D. Palmer; “A Chiropractor who comprehends the principles of this science will have no use of adjuncts. Just in proportion as he lacks knowledge and confidence (the two go together) he will use remedies, become a mixer. The more he mixes the less use he has for Chiropractic.”

“If you do not remove the cause, how can you expect to recover from the effects?”

    Hi Pete,

I worked with racehorses several years ago (as a strapper and trackrider for Bart Cummings, Gai Waterhouse’s father TJ Smith and Colin Hayes. I then went on to study and work as a journalist and editor before contracting Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which I have begun to heal myself from using diet and reiki etc. I have recently been feeling a calling to again work with animals – this time as a healer. I am keen to learn energy healing and homeopathy for animals, and wondered if I could study with you (via distance ed, initially) perhaps in return for some writing and photography.

    Warm regards,
    Jewel

      Hi Jewel,

      Cheers,

      Pete Esdaile
